We take the health and safety of our customers as our number one priority. We have been following the Illinois Governor’s guidance on the plan to reopen our store safely for our customers. Following those guidelines moving into Phase 3 of the Governor’s plan we will be opening our physical store once again to customers starting on Tuesday June 2nd. We expect the following changes to be in place for the entire month of June. If the guidelines change we will provide an update.

Store Capacity
As mentioned above, in following the Phase 3 guidelines from the state, we will be restricting our in store capacity to 10 people at a time. This means that we will have to make changes to our weekly events to help meet this goal. We welcome all of you to come out to our store, but understand that we may not be able to have as many people in the store at the same time until we are able to safely increase our capacity.
Weekly Events
We will still be holding weekly events for Magic: the Gathering, but we will be limiting each event to a total of 8 people. This will allow us to run events while still keeping our customers safe and in line with the state’s guidelines. In order to help make this change easier on you we have listed each of our weekly event entries on our website so that you can purchase an entry ahead of time and know that there will be a spot in the event for you when you show up. You can still show up to the store without pre-purchasing an entry, but please understand that we might have to turn you away if 8 people have already signed up for that day’s event. We don’t want to have to turn away anyone who wants to play in our events, but we hope you will understand and work with us during this process.
You can go to our website here to purchase your entries. You will see an different item for each individual event. If the item is out of stock that will mean that we have already had 8 people signup.
Open Play & EDH
We know that a lot of you also like to play outside of our weekly events. You can come in and play at a table from when we open until about half an hour before an event is supposed to start so that we can allow those playing in the event the space to come in and get ready to play. On Saturday’s when there are no scheduled events you can open play at any time.

Season Points
Players accumulate points during each of our weekly events for the chance at prizes at the end of the season. We do not want to make anyone feel a need to come out if they are not comfortable. We also understand that because we are limiting event entries some people who are trying to earn points will be unable to do so. Therefore we are going to end the current season from Theros Beyond Death from the last event before we closed. We will evaluate the situation and provide an update when we will start the next Boar’s Hat season.
We will still be giving out foil Boar’s Hat tokens and FNM prize packs for those that do enter and prize in our events.
