Overall Tournament Stats
Between last weeks provisionals and this win-a-case tournament being a week a part with the same number of participants there was quite a shift in symbol break down. Checkout our provisionals recap here: Provisionals Recap. In our provisionals water made up 28% and earth made up 22% of the decks. Compared to here where both of those symbols shrunk in share to make room for air and chaos making up about half of all decks.
With 12 characters represented there was a healthy selection of characters represented. It is good to see that there are plenty of characters that are seen as powerful or fun. Checkout the breakdown here:
Character | Number of Decks |
Minoru Mineta (II) | 3 |
All Might (III) | 3 |
Eijiro Kirishima (II) | 2 |
Fumikage Tokoyami (I) | 2 |
Kyoka Jiro (I) | 2 |
Dabi (I) | 1 |
All Might (II) | 1 |
Nomu (I) | 1 |
Ochaco Uraka (I) | 1 |
Toru Hagakure (I) | 1 |
Katsuki Bakugo (I) | 1 |
Gran Torino (I) | 1 |
Top 8 Breakdown
Despite air making up 26% of all decks in the tournament, not a single one of them made it into the top 8. Chaos on the other hand kept its strong showing with 2 of the 4 decks making it into the top 8 and the other 2 chaos decks coming in at 10th and 12th overall. Another note is that the only 2 earth decks were Eijiro Kirishima (II) decks and they came in 1st and 2nd overall. Making Eijiro Kirishima (II) earth decks the winner of both tournaments. It is definitely a deck to keep an eye on.
